Freo are continuing their end of season cleanout, this time it's Dodd, Ruffles, and O'Brien and Bucovaz who've been delisted.

Feel sorry for Ruffles, he's had some rotten luck with injuries. Similar to Max Bailey at the Hawks, but they kept him.

My understanding is that Ruffles is still contracted for the 2011 season so its a good indication that he will be picked up in the rookie draft.  Not many clubs are going to pick up a kid that has played a handful of games and had 2 knee reco's.

All rumour lines are also saying that he will be picked up on the rookie list.

The kid can play but hasnt been able to get on the park.  My thoughts are that he is being moved to the rookie list and then given all of next year to get his knee's right.  Then I think he will be given another year to prove himself and see what happens from there.

thanks for the update

*Disclaimer*
Remember that those are my thoughts and not that of the Fremantle Dockers Football Club.  The decision to totally humiliate me and not pick him in the rookie draft is still possible

;D ;D ;D

Haha valk they said the same thing on the news here in Perth so I'll back you up there!
If they don't rookie list Ruffles then we'll both blame Tim Gossage (do you guys get him over east?).

We can only hope they dont get Tim "Goose" Gossage.

I liked Dodd, turning out like Polak and Drum, good players that don't fit the structure

Dodd was one of a bunch of ordinary players we had.  He wouldnt get a game in the current team.
