Hows this mob?Ive covered mpp for everywhere accept r/b which lacks decent options anyway.I only have 2 players from same club in same position once(hodge & whitecross who are both mpp).I believe every player is a realistic rd 1 chance but unknowns beams,simpkin & may im sure can be changed for similar value come rd 1.Would love swan & ablett but i have krakouer & swallow from those 2 clubs & both tipped to be guns.Goddard,judd,sandy,chappy & hodge were all captains of many teams last year & buddy,boyd & pav could all be pinch hitter captains in a clinch.The beauty of walker & mcveigh is strictly mpp,if they become C only i will give both the kyber pass in a heartbeat.Other option is retzlaff of brisbane in for whitecross as brisbane are unaffected by the bye,that would earn me an extra 300,000 to play with perhaps upgrading foley to anyone from montagna down which includes priddis/watson/bartel/a.swallow/mitchell & boak which would keep me in line with the 1 player per club policy & boak,probably my 1st choice of these would give me about 100,000 in bank.

Midpriced strategy interesting choice for SC

Holz

i personally hate the mid price strategy, way way to much money on the bench, missing out on alot of really good rookies. Alot of mid pricers underpeform expectations and i think you will be stuck with alot of 70s and 80s average players.

i dont know why you would want to have Walker and Hunt on the field with Otten on the bench opposed to Lake and Otten  on the field with someone like ben jacobs or cameron richardson on the bench.

HTM

now this is a poor team.. ellard, wood, foley, walker, whitecross, mcveigh, hunt, stewart, johnson... need some more money making rookies, dont get all of these 9 players in your team cos you will wont to get rid.. you can get one or two, if you must

tferrier18

Agreed.

Although, I do like Foley and Ellard...If I end up having a mid pricer in my mids it will definitely be Foley, and I might end up having Ellard in my team instead of knights;

agreed mid priced strategy sucks. to many upgrades and not enough money made. i only get mid pricers if i can see them becoming premium

yep points taken,admit to knowing nothing of most of the rookies,will be watching nab cup with interest as im living in the philippines & dont get to hear a lot of tidbits.Taylor Hunt & gysberts are 2 guys i was really impressed with & im sure will play most of season & score well,so im sticking with those 2 for sure.In saying that i will have 33 guys on the field in rd 1 who will all be playing(gold coast players aside).I did this last year & my only regret was rockliff who i had pencilled in all summer but dumped him because not picked rd 1,so im sticking to that policy.

HTM

good policy jimmytigs, i didnt pick up pods at the start, cos he didnt play round 1, and then didnt want to straight swap a get him.. eg hitchcock - pods.. soon relised big mistake

hunt and gysberts are proabbly the 2 on the list i would least like to have in my team, so many beter options swallow,gaff,bennel all beter than gysberts and cheaper and players like talia,howard,richardson,mzungu most of them should play alot of games and average alot more for a much cheaper price

yeah pods was the other 1 your right,but my policy saved from choosing petrie which was a blessing as it turned out.

Average team needs work getting rid of fringe players eg. Whitecross ext. I am not a fan of the mid price strategy.
