Micth Wallis

Summary

Wallis would have probably gone close to being a Top 10 pick had he not been drafted under the Father/Son rule.

Wallis captained the U18 Vic Metro side this year and averaged 28 disposals at 83% efficiency. Can play inside and out, and has an excellent work ethic similar to Joel Selwood.

Wallis had 47 posessions in the TAC Cup Grand Final for the Calder Cannons.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on m0nty's fanplanner

Price: $107,500

Position: MID

Cheaper than a lot of other rookie midfielders and likely to get a game as well. Even though he is not MPP, could be of great value as a handy back-up. The Bulldogs have a reasonable draw in regards to the bye situation, apart from Rd 20.

Decision:

Shortlisted for me. Has huge potential and is able to get his hands on the ball, and with a high eficiency rate, could be a very handy cash cow come mid season.

Will you give Wallis a go?

Wallace has been in and out of a few of my drafts, and is well and truly shortlisted.

Uncertain if he will get regular games, I think he will, but the Dogs are still strong with a good midfield.

Great write-up as per norm

Justin Bieber

I have him shortlisted. I would lock him in if he is set to play games, but who knows this early.

tferrier18

Pretty much locked. Would have gone top 10, he'll be cheap as chips

Wallis vs Liberatore??

Wouldn't the dilemma be who is likely to do better out of these two Dogs rookies??

Libba Jnr at fanplanner estimate ~$84k could be just as good if not better no?

Justin Bieber

But can Liba Jr jump Wallis for a spot in the lineup?

But I think Wallis is probably the better player though.

Will more than likely get him so long as he gets games, unless he turns into a Morrabito from this year ::)

Maca24

should be in my team. havent left him out of a fanplanner yet  :)

Boomz

The Dogs do have a strong midfield but at that price he is tempting for what he could do...

Junktimer

got a lot of ability but just not sure whether he will get games, 50/50.
