Basically, he's (Bomber) found a way to get back to Essendon without burning to many bridges, or so he hoped.
Geelong will say nothing, but I'm sure there will be an underlying resentment on our part if he WAS approached by your president before the end of the season, in fact, before the finals.
On the up side though, I think we've made a good choice for Bombers replacement in Scotty, so we look forward to next season.

The thing is what if it was Bomber that came to us first? then is that wrong? Geelong definitely aren't happy but I think they needed a change so it could work out for everyone in the long run...

Not only did Bomber lie but he gave GAJ heaps about the GC decision .. which may have played a part in GAJ finally going ? .. I'm disappointed that GAJ has gone but I'm glad Bomber went .. he was pretty ordinary last year

The thing is it's football... Everyone lies. Anyone who believes Gazza only made his decision just before he signed is very naive.
Everyone in footy lies... Hird lied at first... Cut bomber some slack it would've been worse if he walked out & went straight to essendon without all the lies...

Also the Bomber & Ablett thing was massively beat up by the media obviously bomber is going to want him to stay but I highly doubt it was as big as it was made out to be.

I actually agree with that Boom. I think half the problem is the media want people to admit they are doing something before they are ready to make it official.
