Bock is risky but is very cheap and could see alot of the ball this year. He reads the play well meaning he could get alot of marks off opposition kicks which are very valuable in SC. i would also imagine he will be the key to thier forward thrusts out of defense along with harbrow so he could really score well this year with the ball down there all the time.

Shaw cant handle a tag hes efficincy is good but its either a great kick or a clanger with him so he can really lose you points. may increase his average by 5 points or so but if teams stop tagging him he will explode.

Fisher could be a good smoky will definately be st kilda's general in defence if gilbert goes forward but dawson out for the first 5 weeks may mean he will play a more defensive role. can also be tagged out of games.

Symes.............who? unique but can be injury prone and is not a massive scorer id give him a miss.

Hurn can be tagged out of games aswell and i dont think this will change as there is noone to take attention off him so you will have to ride the rollercoaster.

Carrazo would be a good pick if he didnt tag............but he does and it affects his scores alot, if he starts playing as an attacking mid or defender get him.

My pick: Its out of Bock and Shaw and i see Shaw as an upgrade target due to his high variance in scores, meaning his price will come down low at some stage during the year. So its Bock for me out of those guys
