1 with collingwood..

Thompson has none (as coach) with Essendon....
Shut down Hilly :P

Good to have Bomber but seriously almost would've preferred he took a season off before coming.
Now the football world is angry at Bomber & Essendon, over a freakin' AC! How much difference can he make? I'm ready to be proven wrong though.

Boomz

Who cares if the football work is angry at us :P The fans are happy & we have our man I'm deaf to opposition supporters hate ;)

Alex7089

I care :-\
Plus we handled it poorly as did Bomber and that makes me angry >:(

Boomz

When are you Essendon fans going to get over it .. 'it' being in this case, defending your club's and both your new senior coaches lack of integrity .. we (Cat's fans) have got over it and moved on .. we just accept that fact that you're a club not to be trusted .. see you on July 2nd in Rd 15 .. only 230 more sleeps to go

yeah but during the week before the game expect the media to roll out the whole circus again

either way i'm happy we got him but i do have to agree poorly handled by the club and by bomber should of been open from the start about the possibility of it bomber that is and probably shouldn't of been tongue lashing ablett in the media all year when he has done the same thing

only difference is everyone figured ablett couldn't turn down such a great offer so was pretty much known for awhile where as bomber just up and left citing different reasons but ultimately making himself look far worse and tainting his time as geelong
no i'm not taking anything away from him he done a great job there just saying for the next few years people also are gonna remember the way he handled his leaving and it taints it really

that is correct daz & in saying that (Maybe) he could have done the same at Geelong then and handed the reins to Sanderson or Scott or Hinkley as (not 100%) but sure Geelong could have done the same? To keep him involved.

The lure of going home tho is stating the obvious pretty well what he wanted to do it's just the way it has been done.
