Still think he is a long way off consistently scoring at an acceptable level......The other Freo rookies would be better value

Dees for the Draft

I don't think you can trade him after last week's performance, simply based on potential.

It's not worth a trade considering how he went on the weekend.

hold onto him.
he showed glimpses of really good football, losing his man on the wing, which in turn will convert into a stack of uncontested marks.
i think after the game he played he'll have  a showerload more confidence, and will start backing himself in.
butt he has been a rollercoaster ride so far, but imo, not worth wasting a trade.

mEnty

Hasn't shown much yet...but think a lot of that is confidence, hopefully he can get a bit more from the weekends game.

Dedem

i say keep him, so long as he gets a game we might see more games like last week

footycool

Yeah Deeman. Was sweating over if he was going to brekeven. Luckily as the presure mounted in the freo crows match he stood up and delivered a good score. Hopeully this is a sign to come   :)

Not so sure if he will score well against saints. The saints have been playing a tough, hard at it and 'suck life out of opposition' brand of footy this year. They constantly keep pressure on the ball carrier and I'm not sure that will suit Hill very much. His body isnt ready for that type of footy and his new found confidence might go out the window!

BUT,  don't quote me on this- just my opinion...

footycool

good point hibbo, if matt maguire plays 4 saints he will slot into my team, but if he doesnt them i will have 2 take a gable. Have u got Hill in ur team

hibbo

Yeah I have hill, but he will be on the pine for me and I'll play Broughton as he is a mature recruit and should have a better body to hold up against the saints style game. Or could go neither and play Petrenko- Unsure yet...

Yakuza

yes hibbo, this week is very important for Hill.
could be a make or break (him in half) game i think.
its just what he needs though i think, if he gets away this game, there will be no stopping him though.

Agree Yakuzza. for all of us Hill owners this week against the saints will tell us if he is deserving to win a spot in our DT's. Will he continue last weeks good form or will he crash back down to where he used to be? We will have to wait and see       javascript:void(0);
