I definately think the Saints can do it. It's a big ask though, the Pies have done nothing wrong this season.
It's not a question of who deserves it more, the best team will win.

I'm behind them all the way. The Pies finished on top in 66', they won by 72 points against the Saints that year; they finished on top this year, they beat St. Kilda by 72 points again...

It's an omen!! ;)

I was having lunch at Maccas in Belmont Saturday morning with my wife and granddaughter and a family of Collingwood supporters came in and the Madam (sorry) mother waved her scarf around and sang the Pies theme song. What do you suppose would have happened if I did that this time last year at a pub in Collingwood?
Some supporters give their club a bad reputation.

Surprisingly, I'm going for the magpies :)

Interesting stat (well, for me anyway). The 2010 Grand Final will be the first Grand Final since 1999 that does not have any Brownlow medallists, hell from 2000-2009 there were at least 2 Brownlow medallists in each Granny...except 2007. Observe:

2010: Collingwood v St. Kilda - 0 Brownlows
2009: Geelong v St. Kilda - 2 Brownlows (Ablett, Bartel)
2008: Hawthorn v Geelong - 2 Brownlows (Bartel, Crawford)
2007: Geelong v Port Adelaide - 1 Brownlow (Bartel)
2006: West Coast v Sydney - 4 Brownlows (Goodes x 2, Cousins, Judd)
2005: Sydney v West Coast - 3 Brownlows (Goodes, Cousins, Judd)
2004: Port Adelaide v Brisbane - 4 Brownlows (Voss, Black, Akermanis, Wanganeen)
2003: Brisbane v Collingwood - 5 Brownlows (Voss, Black, Akermanis, Buckley, Woewodin)
2002: Brisbane v Collingwood - 3 Brownlows (Voss, Black, Akermanis)
2001: Brisbane v Essendon - 3 Brownlows (Voss, Akermanis, Hird)
2000: Essendon v Melbourne - 2 Brownlows (Hird, Woewodin)
1999: North Melbourne v Carlton - 0 Brownlows

St.Kilda would be the sentimental favorites because it's been a long time between drinks for them.
The Pies deservedly go in favorites. Hopefully it will be a better game than either prelim was.
I hate it when big games like this are a blow out. Hopefully we get another great game like last year. The clock ticks into time on and the scores are level. It doesn't get any better than that. :)

I like our chances better this time round, there will be more emphasis on not letting the pies get so far ahead and if we are within two goals and halftime we should be able to run away with the match(that's what I'm hoping for anyway ;D)

Bad luck saints. The Pies were to good. :(

Bosh

Saints are the new chokers, Can't win a grand Final!
