Here's my first crack at a 2011 squad.
Assumptions : $11M cap.
Breakdown : 10/9/4/10.

B : B.Goddard, G.Broughton, B.Symes, J.Adcock, L.Greenwood, N.Krakouer, C.Bolton ( D.Grimes, C.Howard, D.Talia )
M : J.Selwood , L.Hodge, A.Didak, D.Hannebery, J.Redden, D.Swallow
( S.Blease, J.Pittard, C.Bartlett )
R : A.Sandilands, B.McEvoy ( T.Vickery, M.Bailey )
F : P.Chapman, N.Riewoldt, L.Franklin, J.Brennan, B.Fevola, C.Knights, D.Petrie ( L.Johnston, L.Tapscott, J.Butcher )

Early days but I think a good spread across all clubs is achievable to assist with byes. And MPPs will also be very helpful.
I also believe the draw will help. So a strategy I may potentially employ would be to bring in premiums later in the season who have already got their byes out of the way.
Will be interesting to see how Petrie is classified, I'm thinking B/F at the moment. Most will be hoping he is a ruck. This would make Sandi/Petire a no brainer ruck combo.
It will be a very unique year and interesting to see what stategies people try out.

2 suggestions, Andy Otten up back from ADE, coming off a season off should be around 200-250K, and Zac Smith in the ruck from GC

Thanks for the feedback.
Andy Otten: according to my numbers he should be around 323k  ( 20% discount ) which is still great value but I'm keen on Symes. I think Symes will get big numbers with Goodwin, McLeod and Bock gone. If however he gets a 40% discount he will be around 242k in which case he would be hard to ignore.
Zac Smith: Have heard his name being floated around, I'll keep an eye out. Did he play VFL this year, any stats on him?

Smith is the number 1 ruck for GC and should be rookie priced, not sure on stats but he is 205cm and still growing so could dominate as a permanent bench, much the same as gumby this year even if he is a flop SC wise

and otten should get a 50% discount as he did not play a game, much the same as Malceski was priced this year but should not be that high either as he only averaged mid 70's from memory so should be closer to 200K

Justin Bieber

Smokies for bench cover. Will wait until afterd draft as there should be some gems who get taken by the lower clubs who'll get a chance.

Looks like you'll be using MPP pretty well. Could stand to play another rookie or two on field to upgrade others for the start of the season?

i dont mind that team at all MTTY, probably not scully though because of the second year rule and maybe a little lack of rookies in their but it looks ok

Stuey, i dont think that team will fit under the budget and there are now 3 bench players on all lines except rucks but it doesnt look too bad

Stuey

yeah I thought that would be the case Benjy251090 but I will try

I reckon karmichael hunt will turn out to be a player like presti if they play him down back. Will do well keeping the forward to less touches, but prob wont score highly in fantasy
