Wondering whether people think this is handy or not. Reserves aren't the cheapest players on offer but they are selected as they should all play plenty of senior footy meaning I do not necessarily need to trade should a starter get a short term injury. That's the theory anyway.

Backs: Milburn, P Burgoyne, C Cornes, Malceski, Myers, Raines, S Hill (Collier, Rance)
Mids: Ablett, Hodge, Judd, Haselby, Baker, Swallow (Rich, Swift)
Rucks: Ottens, Simmonds (Griffin, Cordy)
Forwards: Deledio, Chapman, Hale, Alwyn Davey, J Riewoldt, Hansen, Higgins (Yarran, Gumbleton)

This team has ALOT of problems with it.

Backs:
Milburn NO.
Either Purgoyne or Cornes not both.
Myers big iffy.
Hill starting NO.

Mids:
Hodge (if playing round 1) should be selected in the backline.
Baker is a stopper and wont score well.
Swallow is struggling for his spot.

Rucks:
No Cox???
Ottens way to injury prone, guaranteed to miss games.
Too much money spent on the bench in this position.

Forwards:
Hale NO
Need another premium in there.
Hansen or riewoldt not both.
Chappy injury prone.

Was curious to the feedback as today I swung a few changes to see if I could get Ablett, Judd and Hodge into my side. That is a lot of dollars on 3 midfielders and compromises had to be made.

Can I ask why no to Milburn?

I am not concerned with both Cornes and Peter Burgoyne as Cornes has his body right and when fit he racks up the points, and Burgoyne is being targetted for more a midfield role this year.

I am curious to see what Ottens does in the preseason, I've earmarked him for replacement by Paul Johnson who should lead Melbourne's ruck this year. I have money on the bench as last year rucks cost me as big guys develop late so are often not cheap if they are to play.

I hear you on Chapman as he burnt me last year, I have got J Brown as a replacement if fit. Hale has my curiosity given the way he demolished Geelong alst year and the fact Laidley wants him to play as a key forward.
