Goddard seems to be too much of a risk with his average AAMI Record, so it's gotta be Montagna, Swan, GAJ or Chappy surely? Thoughts from anyone with those four - settled on anyone yet? Anyone thinkin' Dids or Goodes as roughies? Or maybe Roo or Bartel? Got so many choices, it's gonna drive me nuts.

I've made a few choices this year where my opponent's C has taken the chocolates, mainly swapping between GAJ and Swan when my opp has the other and they burn. Luckily the rest of my squad has gotten the job done on most occasions. Anyone else starting to sweat their captain choice yet?  :-\

I have Swan and GAJ and don't know who to pick!  :-\ araaaaaa

I see where you're coming from jvalles, but there is a lot to be said about momentum running into the finals. Surely if players were going to be rested, it would have been before R22.

Teams don't seem to care about momentum, take a look at Freo, what a joke.  They prob won't win another game this year.

I would bet my left nut at least 1 player form Pies, Cats and Saints will be rested.

I request 1 x left nut

Im thinking Adelaide will make it a tough game for the Saints. Im going with Monty plus he scored 150 odd last time...

Ablett would smash WC however so will the Cats so im thinking that they will rest GAJ up forward if they have a big lead...

Swan im thinking will be good however i believe my opponent will make him C...

Monty atm for me.

Lenny Hayes for me. Three reasons.
Is coming off a week off and will be fresh with a point to prove.
Has a good record in the last weeks of seasons with an average 10 point rise over last three seasons.
Has a good record at AAMI and a good record against the Crows.

Selwood as VC. Will score high picking up the possessions GAJ misses.

My left nut is safe, someone will get rested.  Enright and Selwood have both been named as I/C players? WTF is that?

Back onto Captains, this is a tough one and I keep changing.  For now I have Swan with Mitchell as VC (figure with Hodge out he will score well and will def not be rested).  But I also think Boyd, Bartel and Dal Santo are great options!  Bombers choke up the most 100's over the last few weeks, Bartel has an amazing record on WCE and Dal Santo is in great form, last time against the Crows he was tagged by Reilly, but still managed 120+!  I have a bad feeling about Swan. :(  What to do?
