Ablett as a forward mpp would be nice, spesh with that GC midfield building up, getting delivery from Riski, Brennan, Swallow, Bennell, Harbrow etc.
and u know Ablett wuld chop in the guts

Here's a thought - Ablett's scores may explode!

Agreed he will find it harder physically but that young side will give the ball to him and he will less trusting of them to give the quick handball back (something that choked his scoring last year as he handballed so much to trusted team mates as part of deliberate structure).
Once he has it he will be more inclined to kick this year as he tries to gain yardage to relieve pressure on the young side.
A possesion magnet may just become a Montagna kick first type - imagine that as part of GAJ's new game  :o

Yeah can't see it working in SC.
Plenty of those kicks will be ineffective as he struggles to get clean disposal whilst fighting for the ball unprotected.

missing a few if it is there LE

just one thing im wondering about wallis and liberatore, theyre small mids/fwds which the doggies have heaps of, ud think brodie moles, etc. would be the straight in for johnson and eagleton. gia, higgins, boyd and cross are the lock-in mids for the doggies for sure. just hope their names help the young fellas out, and the fact that they got a bit of talent, ie wallis
