I'm in the prelim against the team that finished first (i was second) and who has been scoring near on identical to me over the last monh.

My team:

Goddard,hodge,enright,malceski,waters,duffield,J.hunt  ( Strijk, Lisle )

Ablett, judd,stanton,montagna,cooney,martin.  (Blair,Gysberts)

Natanui, R.stanley  ( sandi and Lobbe)

Hall, Gia, pods, pavlich, brown, roo , goodes  ( dennis-lane and playfair)

I have 4 trades left and $380K in the bank. What are the best options? I was looking at upgrading brown and pods to didak and harvey. But if pav doesnt play this week I may upgrade him instead of pods? If I scrape through then I'd do two defensive upgrades next week barring injury. Bringing swan in for martin was another option but doesnt leave enough change ($76K) to upgrade anybody else. I have missed the swan train I think..
First year player and I'm in the prelim, ranked 32,000 with an average of 2126. Couldn't be hapier but will admit a lot of trawling through this forum helped me get there. "save your trades" and "wait for the teams to be announced" was advice  that would see me burnt already had I not listened.

thanks for the help guys.....

Considered sandi to mumford and martin to swan but dennis-lane is the cover for pavlich. And if brown doesn't play then it would be a donut.
I reckon stanley will score against richmond than dennis-lane will against the bulldogs coming off there big loss.

I really want harvey in somewhere for his 300th against the eagles. Surely its a gimme he gets 100+ as the north boys will be feeding him all day?

QuoteFremantle have taken a B team to Launceston for Saturday's clash with Hawthorn after deciding to rest several stars before the finals.

The Dockers flew east today without seasoned players Matthew Pavlich, Aaron Sandilands, Adam McPhee, Roger Hayden and David Mundy as well as exciting youngsters Anthony Morabito and Stephen Hill.

Coming into the travelling party were Ryan Murphy, Clayton Hinkley, Tim Ruffles, Zac Clarke and Justin Bollenhagen
