We all know patty ryder isnt  a bad player. he has the potential to be a very decent player dream team wise. we all saw that against collingwood.
Now that Hille is out all season and ryder looked to get the nod for the ruck work, what do we all think about him now? is he worth slotting him in?

Guys, ive seen all of Essendons melbourne games so far this year...  wait no i havent, i missed the kangas game....  anyway!!  From where i have been sitting, Essendon has looked better when Paddy has been rucking (while Hille has been resting either up forward or on the bench). Im sure he will increase his DT point outut and be a really good pickup!!

ok will in all seriousness yes i do think he will be good in the ruck probably average between 75-85 which is pretty decent i supose his value should rise significantly. to nickyt no i dont mate i just no how much it pisses you guys off which is quite pleasing

who else they got to ruck? bellchambers is undercooked. paddy will be their #1 ruck cause laycock sounds way off. paddy can leap with the best of them, and get plenty of the ball. good cheap pickup.

i reckon bellchambers will be backup ruck, but I can't see paddy spending too much time warming the bench. he's proved he's up to jumping all day. he might get a stint up forward while he's not leaping in the ruck. paddy is ready to breakout. pears can cover his spot down back.
