Percentage Is Now Irrelevant

Having now had a draw, Hawthorns percentage is no longer an issue. The Hawks will win every game for the rest of the season except for round 22 when they meet Collingwood.
And if they are still a chance for 4th spot, Collingwood have a REAL tough game to end the season with.

True. I liked the fact that Collingwood didn't have to worry about percentage. Damn Saints drawing screwed that up though

but the problem is doggies need to lose 2 games and we win all ours. or they lose 3 and we win all but pies which is our toughest but i reckon we can win

You can't worry about what other teams have to do. If the Hawks win 15 games they are in the top 4, end of story. Their fate is still in their hands. It's a huge ask, but what a story. Personally I don't think they can do it. You would think they would drop 1 or 2 games.

Yer, out of the lower 8, Hawthorn are the team you would least like to meet. Still, if you want to get to the GF, you will probably have to play them sooner or later. I position 5 or 6 wins their first final, and they usually do, they have to play 2 of the top 4 teams to get to the GF. Thats why not many of them make it.

Plus the fact that they are a top 4 team generally means they are actually a better team. But yes, I agree.

Personally I hope the Hawks get Carlton in the first week.   ;)
