HELP! Need to improve for finals.

Hey Guys

Need some help leading up to finals.

My team is:
Malceski, Kennelly, Hodge, Enright, Gilbee, Carrazzo - Silvagni, Davis
Ablett, Selwood, Boyd, Dal Santo, Ball, Didak, - Martin, Shuey
Sandilands, Naitanui - Warnock, Roughhead
R.O'Keefe, Hall, Pavlich, Ballantyne, Franklin, Rockliff, Podsiadly - Garlett, N. O'keefe

I have $37,000 in the bank with 10 trades.

Not sure who to get and how to get them. I have plenty of trades leading up to finals but need to improve my scores to cement my spot and give the finals a decent crack.
The last couple of weeks I have been getting just over 2000 except last week which was 1950.

Downgrade Silvagni or Martin and upgrade NicNat? There is talk of Ashley Smith as a decent back prospect?

The next week you could downgrade Martin (Maybe Gysberts if hes named?) and upgrade Ballantyne.

players need upgrading; nicnat, ballantyne and probably a rockliffe
you also need goddard in your back and maybe an out and out superstar such as swan in ur mids downgrade silvagni/davis to ash smith this week
and the  dustin martin to whichever debutant from this round plays the next two weeks
this should give you enough to upgrade the players that shouldnt be starting on your team
done well to have 10 trades at this point, i have three :P

Good recommendations plugz and dave, my upgrade targets in order would be,

1. Nic Nat
2. Ballantyne.
3. Kennelly
4. Ball
5. Hall/Rockliff/Pods - see how they all go in the next 2 weeks


As the other boys mentioned Downgrade Silvagni to Smith this week and upgrade Nic Nat, then downgrade either Davis, Garlett or Martin to any rookie who is playing (have to assess next week) and upgrade Ballantyne to Chappy/Goodes/Daisy. Then if anyway possible try and get Goddard as his price will be coming down a bit...

Hey guys

I'm spewing I missed Ash Smith last week. I got busy at work and didn't make it back to the computer in time. It would have been a good pick up.

Therefore, I still have my 10 trades available.

Any other recommendations for this week???
I need to start upgrading some players but I'm finding it hard to find some cheap players to trade out Martin/Sivalgni.

Unfortunately boys, MacMillan is a mid and there are no decent rookie backs on the horizon... I would suggest with 10 trades left you should still trade Silvagni to Smith. With all 4 of your rucks playing Nic Nat can wait a week or two, I would go Kennelly to Scotland or Gilbert (Scotland for me)then next week go Martin to the best rookie on the bubble and bring in Roo or maybe Chappy if you want to run the gauntlet for Balla/Pods/Garlett

Downgrade Silvagni to Smith or Strijk, then Balla to Riewoldt this week.

Next week downgrade Martin to Hardingham and upgrade Natanui.

You should still have a bit of cash in the bank from those 2 downgrades which will let oyu upgrade Kennelly in the backs and Ball in the mids.

Thats 6 trades in 3 weeks and should have completely strengthened your team, although I would have made sure I had no weak links before finals because if you lose 1 game oyu are out (unless you finish top 4).
