I've noticed that Jobe Watson has been a solid performer. Kind've went under the radar a bit, and wasnt spectacular in pre-season considering his price - but he's performing just as well, if not better, than most at his price.

Some Bombers supporters around me talk him up, what do you guys think? Anyone know or have an opinion whether he can keep up the solid SC scores?

I'm basically comparing him to Winderlich. The Lich King (I'm so clever) looks great so far, but I'm hearing people whisper *injuries* into my ear. Is his injury risk to great to pick him up?

Jobe has a tendancy to go missing in some games, not a consistent as you would like for his price.

Winderlich is a great DT player, gets a lot of the ball but has been hampered with back injuries for the past two seasons. He looks good at the moment, so if he can stay fit could be a good pickup

Yeah he looks good. And if its all goes to hell - then I guess he's a trade to use. Why not take a punt.

The other alternative is to get Dal Santo in instead. Any objective opinions on that? (actually he's a bit more expensive than I would like for that position)

If Winderlich can stay injury free (which has been the trouble with his career to date) he will be a solid performer for you. Just think, Essendon has McVeigh back soon and later in the year Welsh and Prismall will come in so Winderlich will get more free reign and lesser oppostion players picking him up.

Watson's biggest issue is his clanger count so if you can live with the frustration he'll do ok but I think Winderlich is the better pick out of the 2. Will also free up more cash for a big trade down the track.

Rad. Thanks for the pointers! All I have been going on is 'OMG JOBE WATSON'.

All merit SC selection. Go bombers!
And Nicky Dal is always worth it.
