There we are amongst 81,000 at the G, nervous after St.Kilda's first goal of the game. Fast forward 2 hours and we havecompletely pumped St.Kilda with the  biggest cheer of the day reserved for when the ladder goes up on the scoreboard, we are top!

So far with Geelong falling over & St.Kilda not up to it, it's been a good weekend. Then Essendon get thumped and their average coach can't make a decent move to save himself, he's as good as gone. Then Carlton, playing for their life after a useless 4 weeks are meek & pathetic & their coach is under pressure. All in all quite a lovely weekend.

Who knows what may happen next week, but right now life is good.

Your thoughts?

It's funny I always have this simple definition for a perfect football weekend:

Collingwood win, Essendon and Carlton lose.

Throw in Geelong and Brisbane losing... Collingwood going to the top.... I'm lovin' it.

Keep a lid on Cruise, keep it on.

The lid is firmly on Ossie, just enjoying living in the moment.

It could all go pear shaped in one second but at this very moment it all feels right.

Indeed, it has been a great weekend for all Collingwood supporters. But it all boils down to what happens in that last weekend in September. If we play with the same heart and intensity that we showed on Saturday, we can beat any team in this league.

Love to see this... All the Pies supporters are posting like mad today on all forums. It means that the lid is slowly coming off and they're getting all excited after Rd 16. I love it when it all comes crashing back down to earth :P

It's nice on a Monday morning to open up the paper or any AFL website and see the Pies top of the ladder. It doesn't mean a flag is on it's way but it is a lovely way to start the week.

Sounds like someone is a little jealous......and embarassed. lol.

No, maybe, oh ok, yes then... I just want to win one match :-\

Fletch I think we all agree that one match should be saved for Carlton. You always beat them and we thank you for it.

Fletch74

That would be good, then we could go back to back wins... against the Pies :)

Cruiseon

Don't get ahead of yourself Fletch, remember you have just been pumped by the Weagles....... in Melbourne. Ouch.

Woah.

Did you mistake yourself for Geelong? and by accidently change the last 3 years to we showed on Saturday?
