Obviously their surgery's were different.
LARS allowed Eski to maintain a certain level of fitness and match conditioning due to the shorter lay off.
Otten has had the traditional surgery invovling much more rehab and will take time to re-adjust. Especially with the rotations and speed of the game this year.
Otten in for me, 8th back but should graduate.

Depends. Could be priced like Waters was this year. Would be a great option if that cheap.

But I would only do that if their were a lack of rookie options down back.

yeah okay i see your thinking. hard to form a team now because we dont know how the GC team will influence the bench, trades and so on..... :)
