Round 13 was good to most of my team, pulled in my best score since round 1. Averaged 115 in the back line, 121 in the midfield, 138 in the ruck and only 45 in the forward line.

Now, I knew my forward line (Chappy, Brown, Goodes, Grundy, ROK, Medhurst, Gumby, Hitchcock and Watts) was sick going in. Haven't scored 600 from them in ages, but I'd decided to sit on Brown for a few weeks, hope to god Medhurst found some form and wait for Riewoldt to return and bottom out before adding him to what would be a potent forward line in the finals. In the meantime I'd finish my mids by downgrading Silvagni for Strijk and upgrading Bastinac for Judd, Montagna or Swan.

Now, with Medhurst playing in the twos, Goodes finding career worst form and Chappy injured, things are looking just a tad too dire to ignore.

I could do the Silvagni downgrade and bring in Pavlich for Gumby, use my savings to make a straight Medhurst to Giansiracusa trade (assuming Medhurst isn't back next week) or go back to my original plan and bring in Judd, letting the rest of my team carry the forward line until finals.

I have 9 trades and 138.8k in the bank and I really want to win next week against one of my best mates as I have a bottle of top shelf riding on it.

well... this is tough... i feel for you.

bastinac is a decent player so i wouldnt be to fusses about sitting on him for a few more rounds, i think you should do something about your fwds.. im in the same boat with chappy and jono, im trading jono to boomer and holding chappy. dono if boomer is an option for you but yeah.

Up grade Medhurst first to gia looks good!

Gumby is a perma benchie imo. A safe option for cover weekly. Maybe be inconsistent but will post a score :D.

Maybe Medhurst and one of the other 2 out for fallen premiums? Medhurst to Gia sounds good :).
