The Lesser of 2 Evils...

I would like to bring in Gysberts this week before his value rises and am thinking about using Jetta as my makeweight in the deal.

However, here’s the problem....

I have Gram, Maguire and Kennelly all in my backline and will cop a doughnut if I don’t bring in another Defender...

I also have Sandi and Hille as my starting rucks with Warnock on the bench as the only part-time cover (ruck 4 is a nuffie) and am likely to cop a doughnut here as well.

Assuming that all of the above players do not play this round (barring Sandi of course), do I abort my pursuit of Gysberts and improve both of these areas using 2 trades or cop a doughnut and get on the Gysberts bandwagon and improve 1 area?

Thinking of:
Hille -> Kruezer
Gram -> Waite, Duffield, Goodwin, etc....

I have 12 trades and 60K in the bank.

Thoughts??

You could trade Warnock for another cheap ruckman, don't think he'll play for the rest of the year. Maybe Simpson, I wouldn't trade Hille for Kruezer.

I'm in the same boat.  I'll bring in Gysberts only to get the cash to cover a doughnut in the backs. I'd prefer to sit on trades from now on and only use them when absolutely necessary.

Yeah I think I might hold off Gysberts and possibly downgrade Warnock to a cheap ruck and pick up some cash to upgrade a back....
Therefore not copping doughnuts and strengthening my backline at the same time!
