SYDNEY Swans co-captain Brett Kirk has announced he will retire at the end of the 2010 season.

Kirk is definitely one of my favourite players in the AFL. He's been an inspiring & well respected leader for the Swans.

He is definitely someone to look up to for any young, aspiring kids who dream to play in the AFL.

If half the players had the committment to play elite football like he did, there would be a lot more better players running around.
