Backs: Goddard, S.Fisher, Gilbee, H.Shaw, B.Waters, Petterd, M.Brown (WCE) (Reserves: Suban, Trengrove)

Centres: Judd, S.Thompson, Swan, K.Cornes, Adcock, Rich (res: Davenport, Beams)

Rucks: Cox, Kriezer (White, J.Tippet)

Forwards: Pavlich, O'Keefe, Bradshaw, Didak, Lucas, Hansen, Yarran (Res: Rusling, Ballantyne)

I'll admit I'm not completely happy and think I have loaded up on guns and left the cupboard bare in the reserves.  Any comments would be appreciated.  Cheers.

In my opinion your team looks more suited to DT than SC. Gilbee the exception (SC Champ).

S. Thompson, Swan, Kornes and Didak are Guns @ DT but only better than average @ SC.

With the release of the perspectus I found finding rookie priced Mids likely to play Rd 1 difficult. IMO I would trim back some of those DT'er type Mids for better value and definatley upgrade Kruezer in the Ruck.

I think I will deactivate my planner teams and start again, as the perspectus has stuffed everything. It has given us a ton of flexibility and options but taken away all the good value players and hiked up the cost of 1st round draftees. Bast.ards.

Good luck

M.Brown (WCE) is now only a forward, which you probably know by now.

Thats not Ash Hansen in ur side is it??  he is a massive spud

waters?? - that bloke burnt me last year i'm not going anywhere near him.

i agree i'd shuffle the centres a bit, adcock, thompson, cornes? - personally with all that cash i'd grab 2guns like corey, hodgey bartel, black, gazza, and then get on a good mid ranger - im gonna run either swallow, reilly, hasleby, coughlan - will have to ride out the NAB and stuff for a decision there.  then hopefully upgrade that mid ranger down the track somewhere

Agreed. Ashley Hansen = Captain Spud.
If its Lachie Hansen, ok, I think he is a star in the making.
But rest assured that Laidley will stuff up his scoring potential somehow!!
Do you have inside mail on J.Tippett?
He is still rookie listed with the lions still having Charman, Berger and Clark as ruck options. I'd upgrade him to a senior listed player personally.
And Trengove, well many considered him to be the bargain of the draft. Did play up over the break and was fined by the club. With Thurstans and Carlile holding down key posts, he seems destined to continue for now in the SANFL. Shop elsewhere.
Be careful about starting Petterd. I think he is on the fringes of selection only, not a certainty.
Otherwise, you have a sound list.

Thanks for the comments, guys.  Scott Thompson (Adel) averaged 103 in SC last year so I might keep him.  I have changed my side a tad since the post.  I'll keep refining it but I reckon I'm on my way to having a good squad.

Plz explain as i always thought they they were much the same, and i do want do well in my 'virgin' yr !! Look forward to some good advice/explanations
