Brett Deledio, The Dildo, the biggest lock of the year some are suggesting?

I'd love to hear ppl's thoughts on how valuable he really is. At a hefty price tag of 433k he is already on par with the likes of proven scorers Richardson, K Cornes, & the Volt..

I can see potential for him to equal their scores, and if 40k cheaper I would pick him in a flash, but he isn't 40k cheaper and has only a short history of being a top Dt'er. Through his '08 season he boasted an avg of 97.5 yet still managed 7 scores under 90.

Do people believe he will far outshine these lads through season 09? Even without the primary attention of opposition taggers can he manage to be consistently better than those in his price range?

What are your thoughts on the Dildo?

the advantage of having Lids is that he is a high scorer that can be used as a forward, and is much younger and less injury prone than the older but perhaps more proven performers

a couple of <90 scores or a higher likelihood of losing a few weeks outright with niggling old injuries.
