Hey all,

After a struggling start my league comp (have played the best 3 teams in the league...who seem to have had blinders the week they've come up against me :-\ ), some advice would be appreciated re my team -

Goddard Malceski Hodge Hargrave Waters Maguire P.Davis (Silvagni, Nason)
Ablett Selwood Barlow Pendlebury Vince Martin (Bastinac, Jetta)
Kreuzer Tippett (Lobbe, Warnock)
Brown O'Keeffe Higgins Pavlich Hall Medhurst Podsiadly (Gumbleton, Roberts)

16 trades left, with $356,800 in the bank.

Traded in P Davis last week to free up some more $ to allow for a double upgrade this week...

Thought was to trade:

Tippett > Cox

Leaving $155,300 for an upgrade elsewhere.

Would it be preferable to look to trade out an underperforming mid-priced player in Vince or Medhurst or upgrading a rookie in either Bastinac or Silvangi to a (under-priced) premium?

Thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

Current average at a tick under 2,150... but with a bit of cash sitting in the bank... can't help but feel that the cash can be used to improve the squad (barring any sideways trading).

Stuck with Vince and Tippett to date...have been looking into possibility of trading both, but coming up against the Tigers this week... might be set to repay some of that faith?

Bastinac (BE 71) appears to be ripe for the picking/upgrading...using all cash availble, could get a Judd or Montagna.
OR, trade another ripe rookie in Silvagni, and upgrade to a Gilbee, Newman or Bower type?

Or, do I need to bite the bullet and get in one of Sandilands and/or Champan into the side??

Silvagni is also at the end of his tether, IMO. Him and Bastinac are the two I'm upgrading/downgrading this week and next.

Worth burning a trade on Tippett this week after sticking with him for this long...coming up against the Tigers??

Surely should kick a bag and/or if played in ruck should dominate??

Hayes is definitely a great option, but pretty sure he's BE is quite high again this week, so is most probably set for another loss/decrease in price?

Should the focus be on spending all cash reserves on the one upgrade or dispersing as required between a DEF and MID (Silvagni/Bastinac) upgrade??
