8 trades by rd 11 is quite reasonable
but i try to be a tad under that if i can, say 6 by rd 11, that means 3-4 trades for the next 5-6 rds

it really depends on your cas cows and whether you need to off load any underperforming midranges (300k-400k)

as I don't have any midranged players and my cash cows are doing ok i'm just happy to stay put

I always thought punching out a heap of trades between rounds 7-12 is the best way of building a top quality side. Upgrading any later and you're not capitalising on the premiums for as long therefore not getting as much benefit from them.

Just getting back to my original post. Anyone see any benefit in trading in Cox for Seaby etc?

also to see if he pulls through ok having played in final-like game, the derby

yeh i had gibbs from the start last year aswell and was very happy with him but thought i wouldnt start with him this year because he would be copping the tag for the first few weeks. Ive never had hayes in my team and i think im probly biased towards him being a carlton supporter :P but needless to say both are very good upgrade options either this week or next
