The real issue: Cox and Nic Nat in the one team?

Like many other dream teamers i started the year with a modest Tippet and Nic Nat combination in the ruck (opting not to go for a premium), deciding to attack from other parts of the ground.

After Tippets woeful form in the early part of the seaon i made the same mistake as countless others and jumped on Seaby before his price increase in round two. Since then it has been obvious that this was a rash move by all. Seaby doesnt look like averaging anywhere near the 75 i was hoping he would going forward. Hes a 50-60 dream team player and i am at a loss to why i ever thought he would be better.

None the less, what is done is done. Now comes the important question of how to fix a problem such as this. The option are as follows:

1) Hang onto Seaby and hope he comes good  :P

or

2) Trade him for Dean Cox, the out of form premium who is showing signs that hes back on the horse.

I have 17 trades and 300K in the bank, so this option is easy done but then it raised an even bigger question in my mind... i will be starting with both West Coasts ruck division in my DT. Is this a problem? Surely both players cant dominate the one game... one is more likely to get more hitouts and touches while the other has a quiet day?

Is this backwards thinking or is it acceptable to have both Coxy and Nic Nat in your dream team... help me out people.

by the end of the season you should try having HMAC, cox, kreuzer or sandi.

im tempted by the cox form too and nic nats scores have been down since he has got better so it could be risky especially with cox's injury woes of the previous 2 years, on the other hand nic nats scores go back up,i too have seaby after dropping mitch clark b4 the price drop, however my other ruck is sandilands and he has been a gun thus far!

my advice would be kruezer as he has scored 70-90 every game and ticks the durability box, its a safe option and u wont get any huge scores but it should stop the trading from ur ruck division

very reasonable observation Marcz
the very reason i want to hold off trading cox in till at least after the derby

Even though Cox's breakeven is something like 80 and is getable....all it takes is one bad game again to come crashing down

Thanks for the responses.

Kruzer is a very sore spot for me as i traded him out 2 minutes before season opening game lockout for Tippet and it has provided disastrous. I then should have admitted my error and done a direct trade Tippet to Kruzer but i compounded my errors by getting Seaby. It feels like a bit of a slap in the face to finally bring Kruzer in now.

I may give Cox one more week as his break even is 90 odd and his price wont sky rocket. I do feel like its the bottom on the market for him though.... cant see him plummeting much more.

Whats anyones thoughts on Todd Goldstein... consistent performer in my books and is well worth a look at.

There hasnt been that much discussion on the Cox / Nic Nat ruck duo and whether that will affect the scores of each player...

if i were to trade then nic nat -> cox

they seem to have coped with each other's presence though nic nat seems to be getting less tog as cox starts to get his mojo back.
if cox is really back, and i'm using the sandi's challenge this rd as the barometer in terms of where cox is at and where he will be, then it's a no brainer really!

oh, and i wouldn't want to have both in my DT team
