Im hoping someone can clear this up for me as i am not sure if the following is possible

Due some bad planning on my part i have two MPP in my Forward line (FWD/MID) but none in my midfield.
My question is, can i trade out a midfielder and then move one of MPP from the forward line into the midfield and then buy another forward to rplace the one i switched into the midfiled.

Example:

You have no Fwds/Mids in Mid-line.

You have Dangerfield and Ziebell in forward line, both are Fwds/Mid.

To move danger or Ziebell into midfield, you have to trade out one of your existing midfielders for a MPP - let's say Goodes.

Once you have Goodes, you can swap him with eitehr Ziebell and Dangerfield. And then you can trade out Ziebell or Dangerfield from the centre for a different midfielder.

... hope that makes sense

supercoachheroes

the answer tto your question is no.

Master Q

Or if you have both (which you don't) just click subs and it will light up...

good explanation

This is a fallacy.

The only way to 'swap' a player in your existing team

Example you have a mid that plays back also and you have a back that plays mid.
This is not possible to swap them.
Once you have selected any given player in a role that YOU decide even if they are MPP. You will need to trade them back out and back in to reposition them.

Sams-Town

That is not correct. If you have a mid/back in your backline and a mid/back in your midfield you can swap them over using the substitution tab. No trade needed.

nas

Sorry MP but that is the way it can be done.

Certain players tho, using two below for example.

Tippett in ruck, when you bought him he could be a fwd also.
Lobbe in Fwd when you could also have him as ruck.

As per Sams-town hit the S & they change.

Have not heard of anyone doing / done it yet tho.

I did that naste, swapped Tippett into my ruck last week.

When looking at the roo trade this week I also wanted to trade out mcveigh but I also had danger in my forward line as I only have hitchy as emrg in the forwards I wanted to get danger into the mids in case he didn't play as I have bastinac as ermg in the mids.So I traded mcveigh to chappy subbed danger and chappy traded roo to pav so when (or if) danger makes some money I can trade him for a mid.

I've got Waite and Hurley in the backs.  Considering Roberts to Davis to enable MPP.   Got Nason/Maguire on the bench

Not this week, maybe next.  Still too sideways for my liking normally but will ponder it.

Will allow Maguire on the field and then Nason/Davis bench plus some flxibility in the forwards instead of having Gumby/Roberts on the bench.

Only a thought at this stage but will reassess next week, especially if any suspensions/injuries occur.

Have used 2 trades so far.

Did this for Danger.  Happy with the flexibility I have now....
