Would you trade in Adam Goodes or Matthew Pavlich this week?//
Pav is 20k cheaper but is more of a generic pick while Goodes is more unique
Please help!!!!

Goodes i think will still drop a little more. he is an upgrade target by many after another 50k or so. he is for me at least.

pav seems a better pick as long as goodes stays in his forward role rather than his old on baller role.

SCADDICT

Is Goodes ever going back to his onball role? Surely if Bradshaw stepped up, Jesse White and Moore chipping in he could move back there. Swans midfield isn't particulary impressive, Goodesy could easily slot back in.

Justin Bieber

hoping he gets back there mid season.

but as you said, those 3 (or at least Bradshaw and White) need to be firing.

What about with McGlynn up forward. He'll kick a few goals so that could result in Goodes moving to the mid, could it?

Justin Bieber

mcglynn only kicked bags because the opposition were too lazy to keep a man standing on him.

mcglynn won't be kicking bags every week and they need tall marking forwards up there. mcglynn is a little guy and more suited to a cyril rioli type role up forward. goodes only there as he needs to partner bradshaw until white gets some form.

But didn't Goodes average 129 in the last 5 rounds of last year because he was playing at CHF?

he's playing a more deeper role this year. not CHF but more of Full Forward behind Bradshaw or Forward Pocket. can't rack them up from there, but is getting a fair few goals at least if you want him.

Goodes can do some wonderful things. He will be up and down for a few more rounds. But he is a stayer. Himself and Jetta Lewis are making a fine team. He is just another premium finding his way with all the youngins. Just like Cox and nicnat. You will find if you choose players that love to give to one another a lot you're score will rack up. I\

Again just a matter of the oldies fitting in with the newbies :)
