What are peoples opinions in leaving a little cash in the kitty? I have been toying between a few different team make-ups and the one I have at the moment has zero cash left over. Not sure if thats a problem or if it is okay...thoughts?

i dont think there is any issue with using it all... it all comes back to team structure. My team is mostly cheap players, and ive saved 300 on the salary cap so i can upgrade the ones that dont perform... but if ya got a team with some guns in it, probably might as well use it

I had 280,000 in my kitty for 2 weeks. Came in handy. Just cause you have the money doesnt mean you need to use it straight away

with ablett gone and no cover i was forced to trade, but as I had some money in the kitty i could use one trade to upgrade a rookie to a premium.
next week i'll need to use at least two trades for every premium because I have no money left.

I had 100k left over in the bank. Was going to cop 2 donuts on field and used a quick double trade. The 100k i left in came in handy when downgrading 1 cash cow and upgrading another (Banner). Was able to bring in Lids instead of another cash cow.

If you think it'll come in handy later on, why not. Just don't go crazy on downgrades. I try to keep 1 downgrade per upgrade. That way you won't downgrade too much and face rookie donuts and at the same time you'll be able to bring in premiums with the cash.

Its not a neccesity to have money in the bank. I now have only 1k or so. But if i downgrade wisely and cash in my cash cows well, Won't need a hell of a lot of money to play around with.

agreed HP. I have 1900 left after having 200k for about 3 weeks.
looks like Hargrave and Cox will have to wait for a couple more weeks, which suits me fine because the cash cows are still doing their jobs nicely.

It'd be fantastic if one could use one trade to upgrade to a premium but I'm afraid that's a lot easier said than done when your one's cows keep taking sickies  :o
