CFC 1979

yeah - have heard things are not rosy with him

what about mayne straight swap ( +or- a little cash )

Cheez79

people are jumping right on these guys...which is good for me i guess, but they are new forwards for fremantle, how much ball are they going to get? dangerfield is in the same boat but at least he will get time in the midfield and he plays for the crows, which as we know are the best team.

CFC 1979

hope thats true cheez

about dangerfield i mean :D

GinoGod

yer freo forwards scored well in nab cup games but i dont think they can do it during season...maybe matt campbell best option to replace ballantyne or even sam wright from kangas (playing off half back)

ENYGMA

There is a lot of hype regarding the diminutive freo forward, cheap and high scoring early on. Like a lot of others I'm contemplating ditching big bad bazza for this kid. Thoughts?

PS Also toying with the idea of selling Tippet. But Ive convinced myself he'll get going soon. How patient should I be if Tippet doesn't score again in the next 2 rounds.

???

Mish

tippet is playing melbourne this week, he will score a bag, but i am considering trading him for seaby.

and hall sucks, not sure why everyone got him in the first place, only way he gets over 80-90 points is by scoring over 4 goals a game which is unlikely, im sure he will have some good games this year but his wayyy too inconsistant.

ridley

i picked balla and am very happy with the way he is going

only problem is that so far in his carrer he has picked up a few injuries, this still may be because of the transition from WAFL to AFL because he was very durable at WAFL level.

but so far he is looking great

reconfig

Bazza = cash maker, and can produce some good numbers at some stage hopefully.

I keep hearing rumors of tippett having knee tendinitis.... i was never keen on him to begin with, but didn't know who to put in my team. I will be trading him out of my forward line this week.

Im not a big fan of trading mid-priced players in to my team... simply because you dont free up that much cash. Also i feel that if you wanted ballantyne you should have started him. He is shown to be a bit injury prone, and if you start with him, its only 1 trade to replace him. By trading him in, if he gets injured you will have to trade him out again, hence using an extra trade. The other thing is hes probably not keeper material (though he is going well). So you will probably have to trade him out eventually anyway.

By trading rookies into your team as opposed to mid-priced players, you may be costing yourself a few points per game, but you are freeing up more cash, and have a cash cow that is still making you money. And in the long run the extra cash you have will help you more than make up the points per game you were conceding earlier with premium upgrades.

Just my theory anyway

browny_wce

ur quick to get rid of bazza (a proven DT 100s scorer when on song), in a team full of orsum midfielders who are yet to get on track afta a big preseason, but u wanna risk keeping tippet who is still very young, inconsistent and in a team where injured forwards are starting to return.
good luck
make some cash trade tippet for balla
happy i started with the lil freo menace

ACFC_10

I really wont ballantyne in my team but i am not sure who to trade out
GRAY OR HALL

Gray is out agian this week and has been a test for about 4 weeks now so he could be put for longer. I think he will score decently when he is fit but i cannot risk another 0 (even though i have hitchy on bench)

Hall only scored 52 last week and bulldogs won by heaps so if he was going to get a big score that was his chance.

??? ??? ???

Cicjose

Tippett is adelaide's best forward.

Porplyzia is the reliable forward. James Sellar is the key forward who cant get a game and dangerfield is overrated.

i would remove tippett immediately if i had him as a ruck. keep him if you have selected him as a forward.

if you are considering moving from the ruck to forward via MPP then trade him out.

sid3bysid3

doesnt always work that way.

if i were you i would sit tight. hall will score... didnt you see his scores in the nab games, against decent sides also!

also, dont trade gray cause he is going to be a keeper imo, so you'll only end up trading someone like ballantyne out for him. waste of trade.

but! if you have to trade i would trade hall and hang onto gray.

elephants

ballantyne is a cheeky little shower but he is an awesome dter with a stack of tackles per game gotta love him :)

Cicjose

love the summary of ballantyne you've written, elephants
