Sorry but I can't stand posts like this. "Oh I'm a newb at xxx (xxx being whatever game or competition) is my n (n being a really good score or stat) ok?

Of course it is, stop looking for pandering praise from strangers.

As for unfair on those who do research - well can you blame them? This is just meant to be a game and one that is aimed to the masses as well.  I've spent hours and hours this year but am still only marginally better (I think) then last season where I effectively lucky dipped.  A game that has random and unknown factor will never benefit  everyone.  Just enjoy it. :)
