Previous years i have run out of steam with no trades.

Is this a good trade plan?

Gives 4 for injuries or large suspensions?
Subject to players bottoming out.

i just trade when i really need to and try not to use two trades in two weeks. i almost always trade once a fortnight unless injuries suspension etc

I have also done the same in the past. Your plan seems pretty solid if you can stick to it.

remember rd 2 starts on thursday so lockout applies then. so no trades rd2

Rd 3 if you are desperate.

trades are golden. Early days yet

if its for overall, might suffer since you need to upgrade more players mid season.
