I posted this yesterday but it got culled when monty decided that grand final Saturday was when it was best to make server changes

Can we have a vote to get a gauge on the preference of where each coach thinks WXV should be held, between:
A. FanFooty
B. Another forum
C. Its own discord server

Not a binding vote, but perhaps one that can clear up the air and give Purps some confidence behind any decision that gets made

Last-minute suggestion!

I'd like to suggest testing the waters on live player trading.

I'm not suggesting an immediate free-for-all. I'd imagine this would become an administrative headache. However I would like to propose the following.

Players TAKEN in the WXV International Draft are available for live trading.

For example, lets say Christchurch take Xavier Walsh with Pick 24, this was Berlin's target, so they trade 27 and a future 2nd for him.

Thought process being that it's no different to pick trading. There's a name attached to it, but it doesn't affect cap or list spots.

Please be advised of following correction... I initially had top 10 picks worth 100k each, but missed the final amendment to that rule voted on last year.

Top 10 draft picks which are worth:
- Pick 1 = 200k
- Pick 2 = 190k
...
- Pick 9 = 120k
- Pick 10 = 110k

Fortunately this doesn't impact upon the MAX or MIN caps as previously advised

For completeness, final votes on the rules for this year are as follows

(please note I lost original wordings due to the great database migration of 22-Aug-24

1. Ability to Update 2 Train-On Players during Rep-Rounds
A) Yes 12
B) No - keep as is 5

2. Week 2 of Rep Round to feature players 22 and under
(rucks to be 25 or younger, or increasing with age until both teams have eligible rucks)
A) Yes 14
B) No - keep as is 3

3. Change WXV sub rule back to what it was
(i.e. AFL Starting Sub = WXV DNP, and any AFL player who doesn't participate in the second half = WXV DNP)
A) Yes 16

4. Make list preference updates MANDATORY during rep rounds

5. Expand tagging to defenders/forwards
