Actual throw by double-naming Jayden Hunt AND making the unofficial rule that green vested players are auto-replaced by any relevant EMG - which turned Tsatas' (green vest) 62 into McNeil's 41, but not tanking I promise! Rowell and Green the stars for SF, but clearly was a few points short of Chicago's more well-rounded effort (although they did still have Hogan's 165 to help). Decent things in store for both of these teams in 2024?

Boston Celtics 17.12.114 defeated Miami Gators 14.15.99
(Real: 1717 vs 1483)

New location, new problems for the Gators as they suffer an inauspicious start to their new journey. An all-sub-60 forward line (three of them have plenty of potential of course) and two scorers in the teens outside of it didn't help their cause, and they were soundly defeated. Boston weren't great (let down by a few very poor displays), but their class got them to a defendable total. Expectedly, Andrew McGrath was a clear BOG.

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 16.11.107 lost to Carolina Panthers 19.11.125
(Real: 1600 vs 1879)

To the surprise of nobody, Anaheim are still losers. But they're better than they once were! No more are they forced to rely on uninspired picks like Willie Rioli and Sam Draper, now they're relying on much better players like Daniel Rioli and Zach Reid, another tall, injured, crab Bomber (don't mention that I have Draper in both comps I'm in). Carolina were good, as you'd expect for a team with their...age profile...but were carried hard by a pair of 160+ scores in Gawn and Ryan. But I guess they have room to improve too, as Grundy was garbage and Bont *only* scored 126. Just imagine how high he would score if he actually got more of the ball!

Memphis Dragons 18.10.118 defeated Colorado Avalanche 15.12.102

Should've kept Rowell. Not to take anything away from Memphis who kickstarted their new home with a big W...but should've kept Rowell (here's where he gets injured imminently). The Dragon midfield- sans Sparrow - was huge, with 4 tons (one each in the 110s, 120s, 130s, and 140s), as well as McKercher's debut 88. Definitely look like every chance of finals if guys like Rowbottom, Dangerfield and Fyfe can keep up their R1 pace.

Las Vegas Sinners 17.11.113 lost to Quito Quetzals 18.10.118
(Real: 1701 vs 1771)

Caleb Serong, what more can you say? Vegas were up a fair bit most of the match-up, but Serong, with help from McGovern, Daniher, Houston, Dunkley and McCluggage got the Quetzals the points they needed, and more. Vegas were unlucky to have Gibcus injured, and CC Dawson wasn't as good as usual - but the real villain here is Zac Fisher. New club, new role, same potato?

Ottawa Otters 16.12.108 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 18.12.120
(Real: 1626 vs 1795)

Ottawa were left to rue 7 sub-60 scores (and Young and Greene only managing 70 when they easily should've had more), and were easily defeated by a NBH side that will surely break their culture of underperformance at some point? And with Duggan, Bolton and Lukosius also performing below their normal, they have room to improve.
