Houston Bombers 17.8.110 lost to Colorado Avalanche 18.8.116
(Real: 1647 vs 1743)

Are we sure Houston actually want to play finals? Stirring win by the Avalanche as they improve to 7-10, potentially just a win (and an impossible-to-obtain amount of percentage) away from sixth spot after this round. Scores of 32, 26, 52, 55, 58, 44, and 55 were killer for the Bombers, while the Avalanche were lead well by Sam Walsh and a pretty consistent showing, with the sub unused.

Carolina Panthers 18.7.115 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 18.9.117
(Real: 1731 vs 1761)

Very strange game, as the Panthers also looked disinterested in grabbing their finals spot - and the Sinners coasted to a narrow victory. The Kelly gang were injured and really let the Panthers down as C and VC, but Bont going huge kept them in the game, and Shiel came late to try and snatch it - but full forward floppers Daniher and McKay combined for sub-60, and Menegola couldn't even replace them as sub as he barely scraped out of single-digits. Petracca was big late for the Sinners, and Warner was also big (imagine both sides having two 140+ scorers and neither coming that close to cracking 120!), but they'll need much more out of Fyfe, Franklin, Blakey, Jaeger, and English among others.

Boston Terriers 20.8.128 defeated Chicago Sharks 17.10.112
(Real: 1920 vs 1681)

Massive game for finals implications, and a Boston side who have been mediocre recently rose to the challenge to say the least, putting up a very nice score in spite of a pair of 27s and Keays scraping to 60 as VC. Chicago, conversely, have been fantastic recently, but stumbled big time with Clarry's leadership - luckily they've pretty much booked their finals spot and would've been struggling to push to climb into fourth.

Quito Quetzals 18.10.118 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 18.12.120
(Real: 1767 vs 1799)

Lived up to its promise in terms of the ladder positions, but certainly not the scoring outputs. Quito had two 140+ scorers but had just as many players score sub-40, and a few more in the 50s. Gawn the obvious big let down for the Cockerels, almost matched by his potential replacement in JZ doing shower all.

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 19.10.124 defeated New Brooklyn Hawks 18.9.117
(Real: 1864 vs 1762)

Nobody say the T-word. The Bombers collective get the job more than done for the Ducks, with big assistance from the best Berry in the comp. NBH will be kicking themselves, as a win would've had them right in finals contention heading into the final round.

Ottawa Otters 19.7.121 defeated San Francsico Grizzlies 14.10.94
(Real: 1814 vs 1404)

A new low - but I think we can all agree that Brad Hill barely scoring half of an OOP debutant earns him a crucification? Ottawa were good though, hard to beat that effort.
