Please pledge funds to help fight cancer! Examples of ways you can help:
1.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug nails the top captain of the round.
2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Did you know that this is the 9th year I've done this? I'll continue to help with a smile and free of charge but, if you want to thank me, please donate to my charity efforts! Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week and a speicial POD choice.

The facts & thoughts:

Brodie Grundy
Last 3: 181, 129, 100 (137 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 112, 134, 147 (131 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 100, 95, 112 (102 avg)

Coming off a 181 and against either a sore Nankervis or Ivan Soldo? Lock Grundy in. Prediction - 145

Jack Macrae
Last 3: 132, 110, 106 (116 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: 91, 99, 116 (102 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 132, 110, 106 (116 avg)

Macrae is still in some good form but pretty poor against the Dockers historically. I'll back him here at Marvel. Prediction - 120

Josh Dunkley
Last 3: 123, 189, 120 (144 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: 82, 41, 114 (79 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 123, 189, 120 (144 avg)

Dunkley is so so good in the mids. Why is he ever played forward? The obvious concern is Magneto Beveridge overreacting to last week's loss but Dunkley should be good again. Prediction - 125

Nat Fyfe
Last 3: 128, 61, 133 (107 avg)
Last 3 against Bulldogs: 124, 136, 110 (123 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 74, 125, 88 (96 avg)

Doggies mids are hard to score against at the moment but Fyfe's history says he could be the exception. Of course, that's if he even plays... Prediction - 120

Zach Merrett
Last 3: 126, 114, 57 (99 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 138, 91, 127 (119 avg)
Last 3 at Metricon: 138, 91, 119 (116 avg)

Loving Merrett's scoring in the last two weeks and he should be huge against the Suns! He likes playing them and they are putrid right now. Prediction - 130

LAHUG'S POD!

Adam Treloar
Last 3: 111, 121, 102 (111 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 152, 71, 147 (123 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 102, 124, 74 (100 avg)

You may consider it cheating to have a genuine midfield gun as a POD but nobody will be picking him (even for DT loophole) when Grundy plays the same game. That said, Treloar loves to step up against the Tigers and has a 152 and 147 in his last three. What a huge POD it could be. Potential - 150

The verdict:
1.   Brodie Grundy (145)
2.   Zach Merrett (130)
3.   Adam Treloar (130)
4.   Josh Dunkley (125)
5.   Jack Macrae (120)

I was so so close to going Merrett instead because of the weather but I stuck to the big guy. At least in DT I could loophole (go Dunkley!).

Should be stripped of pig status, which he probably shouldn't have had in the first place...
