Downgrade/upgrade options - drew/setterfield,d moore/
In >    Ryan/siciliy/hurn/rich)     MIDS  (Merrett, Pendles, Bont, Kelly, Macrea)
Downgrade upgrade probably  -  depending on available rookies and premium BE's

All subject to change of course.   Most likely change will be bringing in Hately when GWS play him again.  Personally I would like them to keep him until R15 if his JS is going to be suspect.  Does not look good when Whitfield is out and he is still not getting a game.

Upgrade Options thoughts
DEFENCE
RYAN - early 20's breakout player playing SC friendly role more upside than downside, - r12 bye is good opt1
RICH - late 20's sub prem player that has always had potential.  is scoring well above career average.  Role has seen reduction in sub 80's scores supporting increase of 10+ pts in average. Very Bad bye option r13.  Depending on funding and timing may be option post byes.
SICILY - elite intercept mark and good user of the ball.  Good match with R12 bye.  opt2
HURN - over 30's scoring at career best rate.  similar mold to simpson from Carlton.  have to wait to r15 to get him or pay overs and copy bye.

MIDS
MERRETT - was keen on him pre season, decided on value options Brayshaw and B Crouch.  Merrett outperforming both.  Will have to pay high change over cost unless he drops some value between now and byes.  Favourable r12 bye.  good value at 550-570k so best chance in next week when he drops to 570.
MACRAE - superprem droppingin price and gettable at around 570 in next couple of weeks.   Toss up with Merrett.
BONT - graceful, elite player that CD loves.  I am never confident what I will get with BONT - appears to have lifted his floor,  last yr 4 scores under 80.  This year lowest is 95.  This has pushed his average up into superprem.   at 23.5yrs of age ready to step up to SuperPrem SC scorer.
PENDLES - over 30yrs of age is a downmark.  moving well and seems to be more involved in 6.6.6 than his defensive positioning in previous couple of seasons.  Elite user of the ball and SC friendly scorer.   2 scores in the 70's this year is what is wrong with him and his last couple of seasons have seen 3/4 sub 80 scores dragging down his average.   Probably leave him out.

Zerrett was/is still a good option mate. Reckon he's top10 for sure. Not much between him and Macrae. Perhaps an odd low week for Zerrett that Macrae won't have but on balance and in the long run he'll be fine. I've got Macrae and want Merrett soon if he's affordable.
Ryan has a BE of 156. Good option but not this week. That said he is playing in Perth and hasn't had a big game for a couple of weeks so he may hit it haha.
This is the week to get Heeney if you are considering it I reckon. BE of 91 priced at 453k. Zac Jones' hammy may mean he is needed in the mids somewhat, though Buddy may be out for a fifth straight week too so could spend some time forward... but either way. Bargain. I am looking at him for next week.
Gawn is the one you need but what will you pay for him and how much will it hurt you in coming weeks with cash flow?

20k short of being able to do drew/young  ROB/Gawn.     need gawn to drop 10-15k,  drew/duursma to play and beat his be.    do i hold off and hope it comes together.

thinking a bit differently    trade moore/young can do gawn this week and use setterfield/drew young corbett to cover d6 for byes until hately/fort look like getting games.

crowls

did ROB/GAWN  Moore>Young   R10.
No Trades in R11 and was unable to get cover for Hore so had donut in back 6.  Still scored 2350 and went up a couple of hundred spots so good outcome overall.

Now staring a box of donuts over the byes unless I take some risk.

So here is my final team.  Used last trade to dump Cunnington for Kelly.  have no fwd, def or ruc playing coverage.  So all about juggling my dpps's  Be nice if Moore got back onto the field give me F/D cover.

Made 8/9 league finals and scored lowest overall result for the year and dropped 1319 spots in two weeks to 1757.   Up to 1612 overall after Rnd 21,  Won 6/7 league finals.

next year options:

22-23 30-60 games - bottom end SC scores tend to improve as players become stronger and more consistent.  Function of body development and increased resilience.

DEF: D Bryne-Jones
MID: Taranto; Dunkley; Oliver;
RUC: Marshall, ROB,
FWD: Worpel if M/F, Heeney,

I like your premo's

Reckon I would have Zorko and Dunkley on short list too!

A next year option who does not fit your 22-23 30-60 game criteria but is in my radar is Oscar Allen (WCE)

hi RR  thanks for the feedback
Think oscar is still developing and we will see an improvement next year from 65 avg.   He is 21 at start of net season and played 21 games.    Unlikely to be ready to make it to premium or keeper status next year.   Will start the season around 350K to buy.   2021 could be an option
