J. Lloyd, Z, Willams, N.Newman, D.Moore, S.Collins, T.Willamson (J.Schrimshaw, C. Burgess)

P. Cripps, N.Fyfe, J.Kelly, A. Brayshaw, W.Brodie, S. Walsh, C. Consable, J. Atley (B. Bewley, N. Hind, M. Gibbons)

Grundy, Goldy (Fort)

Danger, Smith, Heeney, Daniher, Settefield, Rankie (Cavarra, Mcadam)

$168k left in the kitty

Players highlighted in bold are my PODS.

Im liking Daniher and Newman for value as they will make good money and hopefully eventually be good loopholes later in the year

Moore is in because his DPP so if he goes down early or doesn't do what i hope will just be traded

Will Brodie i rate very very highly and i just feel he has a massive point to prove.

Angus Brayshaw is a steal at $525k. Worst case he becomes a m9 but i think honestly think he will be top 8

Just want peoples thoughts?

Just a note on Daniher which may cause you to reconsider:

Joe Daniher: All eyes are on Daniher as he continues his rehabilitation from his osteitis pubis injury. He has started to take part in match simulation drills and stepped up his load, but it remains touch-and-go whether he will be ready for round one. The Bombers are cautiously optimistic he'll be there.

On the team think Newman at D3 to start is a little risky would prefer at D4.
Like your reasoning with Brodie but keep an eye on JLT as Suns have had a turnover of possibly 11 of their best 22 so a little hard to gauge what their midfield will shake down too.

Sound structure. Premos hard to fault, although I think Lloyd and Smith are priced at absolute maximum and can be picked up cheaper later on, but each to their own.
Newman can score well, not game personally but can see the appeal.
Brayshaw has the potential to be a top mid and a decent POD.
Seriously considering Moore too, a bargain given the right role and fitness.

Not keen on Daniher or Brodie.
Daniher touch and go for round 1,think Greene is a better bet, despite also racing the clock he has a much better scoring history/potential than a KPP with groin issues.
Brodie is just too expensive considering Miles and Libba available for less. I'd even rather punt on Rocky/Brouch for not much more.
I'd cut Rankine and Williamson to cheaper rookies, and use the funds + your bank to upgrade Daniher to a premo or Greene, and/or Brodie to a premo or Miles

HappyDEZ

Personally I would much rather Miles + $27K than Brodie.

Made a couple of chances. Think ill take the risk on Tim English as he will be solo ruck and started the year very good last year

J. Lloyd, L.Whitfield, Z, Willams, N.Newman, S.Collins, B.Mckay (J.Schrimshaw, C. Burgess)

P. Cripps, N.Fyfe, J.Kelly, A. Brayshaw, A.Miles, S. Walsh, C. Consable, J. Atley (B. Bewley, N. Hind, M. Gibbons)

Grundy, English (Fort)

Danger, Smith, Heeney, Moore, Settefield, Corbett (Cavarra, Mcadam)

Starting to like it more and more and have $300k spare. Any ideas how to spend it?

Newman-Mills
Brayshaw- Dusty
English to Jacobs if you have enough coin.

Ringo

Newmann to one of Mills, Witherden, Ryan or Savage.
Miles to Dusty, Merrett, Oliver Sloane or similar priced playerrs

Should take up most of your 300k .
