Hi all, there’s been some great discussions on the forum early in the pre season already, I’ve done plenty of diving through the ‘Players & Trades section and have come up with this as my initial starting team.

Def:
Ryan. Witherden. Mills. Williams. Williamson. Quaynor. (Hore. Rozee.)

Mid:
Macrae. Cripps. Neale. Dusty. Miles. Walsh. Hately. Bewley. (Bennell. Constable. Valente.)

Ruck:
Grundy. Goldy. (Fort.)

Fwd:
Danger. Heeney. Wingard. Setterfield. Burgess. Cavara. (Rankine. Cockatoo.)

Most rookies are place holders, I did pick a few top pricers to give me room to move and downgrade as the pre season and my team progresses. I feel a little exposed forward with Wingard @F3 and Setterfield @F4. Have I gone lite down back by leaving out the likes of Lloyd, Laird, Sicily, Simpson? Had Sicily last year and he was great (when he was on the park). Simmo is yet another year older and carries a heavy burden in that backline, particularly with Docherty out again.

Hey Woppa,

Nice looking team, every line is solid.
And as you have stated backline is light.
I don't mind having Wingard at M3, especially when you have two guns in Danger and Heeney at F1 and F2 respectively.
Midfield and Rucks are completely fine.

Hi all.

I am surprisingly fealing quite settled with this team post JLT1.

Def:
Laird. Mills. Williams. Roberton. Logue. Clark. (Quaynor. Hore.)

Mid:
Macrae. Cripps. Fyfe. Neale. Miles. Walsh. Caldwell. Constable. (Hately. Hind. Gibbons.)

Ruck:
Grundy. Goldy. (Fort.)

Fwd:
Danger. Heeney. Boak. Greene. Setterfield. Burgess. (Drew. Balta.)

Realistically I think I’ve got 13-15 keepers, a number of which I expect to be the top echelon of their positions. I’m not against downgrading Macrae to another and brining in B Crouch but at this stage comfortable to sit.

Money Shot

Pretty solid side. Don’t think Miles will be a keeper by any means but will be a good stepping stone.

I'm a little concerned with mills coming back from the knee. Nice team though. Good luck
