I think the problem is that you've absolutely stacked your forward line, which is making it harder to afford other players.

just traded hall for roberts for richmond and taylor for rockliff leaving me with 400000 remaining getting me naitanui for warnock no 123000 in the bank

Rockliff & Pods are both listed as emergencies. Either trade one of them for someone who's playing or trade Franklin. Otherwise, you have one doughnut coming up. Oh yeah and Shepperd's not playing round 1 either. But at least you've got coverage there.
