just remember that in Rd 10 it is still 22 required to score so having 3 hanley, barlow and Boak is a very big risk.

So probably need to fgactor that in.
Yep, my major concern as well, apart from that the team is running super deep.

stevolen23

mixed up the team again based on the round 10 bye.

$6.7k remaining

def: hurley, laird, TUOHY, MILLS, SEEDSMAN , doedee (mirra, mihocek)
mid: martin, mitchell, zorko, fyfe, cripps, JOM, dow, brodie (worpel, barry, kelly)
ruck: jacobs, gawn (d.cameron)
fwd:billings, D.SMITH, TARANTO, bundy, stephenson, HIGGINS (fritsch, garlett)

If you can afford it I would downgrade Seedsman to rookie and upgrade Taranto to Heeney

Seedsman/Taranto 80+80=160
Heeney/rookie 100+60=160

difference is you have a definite keeper and a cash cow rather than two possible keepers.

Apart from that team looks good. Like the Tuohy pick a lot.

Mixed up the team again. I've worked out the byes with a plan, but i will take a small hit in round 14 which i don't mind.

$7.7k remaining

thoughts???

def: laird, tuohy, lloyd, sicily, doedee , finlayson (mirra, mihocek)
mid: martin, mitchell, crouch, fyfe, bont, cripps, dow, barry (holman, giro, kelly)
ruck: s.martin, gawn (olango)
fwd:billings, walters, d.smith, bundy, stephenson, fritsch (brown, garlett)

round 14 will be too tough for everyone so everyone is in the same boat.

really good team. cant really fault it for now, good job.

Thanks a lot money shot for the advice. I wanted to try something a bit different. Thoughts?
def: I upgraded from lloyd to hibberd as he should have another big year and if more of a safe pick.
mid: i left out martin as he is a bit too expensive and he should drop in price, so i think ill get him near the bye rounds.
fwd: Melksham is a big risk, but his jlt games have been decent, and with the extra money got dunkley instead of stephenson.

def: laird, HIBBERD, tuohy, sicily, doedee , finlayson (mirra, mihocek)
mid: titch, ZORKO, crouch, fyfe, bont, cripps, dow, kelly (holman, giro, barry)
ruck: s.martin, gawn (olango)
fwd:walters, d.smith, MELKSHAM, DUNKLEY, bundy, fritsch (brown, garlett)

Tuohy will find it hard to score points with Ablett/Danger/Duncan/Selwood all going 110+

Melksham I think is a disaster waiting to happen, think you are reading too much into one jlt performance.

Dunkley on the other hand is a really really good pod to have me thinks.

Hi all,
This is my final team before lockout, feedback would be appreciated about each of the lines.
Thank you.

$6.1k remaining in bank

Def - Laird, Hibberd, Savage, Siciliy, doedee, murray (mihocek, mirra)

Mids - Titch, Zorko, Neale, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, JOM, Kelly (Banfield, Barry, Holman)

Rucks - Jacobs, Gawn (Olango)

Forwards - Heeney, Walters, Smith, Dunkley, Garlett, Fritsch (Ryan, Brown)

DEF:
Laird and Hibberd are 90+ scorers and safe picks. Savage and Sicily has a high ceiling and Savage is bit of a POD. Doedee and murray both should start rd 1 and should start majority of games

MID:
Titch, Zorko, Fyfe and Neale, Cripps are all guys that can make top 15-20. Zorko and Neale are PODS, and i think neale can explode this year. Coniglio and JOM are in the mid price range, but i think they could get the numbers of a premium. Kelly, banfield, barry and holman should all be very likely contenders to play.

FWD:
Heeney has injury worries, but he Walters and Smith should get a lot of midfield minutes and can kick goals. Dunkley should also play that inside mid role sometimes. Garlett and frisch look set to start rd 1, and ryan could be a very good cash cow in the later rounds.

PowerBug

Very mid strong side there. Find out tomorrow but I don't think you'll have any backline bench players. Also noticed that none of your rookies are priced above $123k, got something against the higher priced guys? :P

Think you need to have a plan in place to ensure you have playing rookies on benches except Olongo who is the perfect VC Loophole floating donut.  Reason being from Rd 1 you want rookies making money to upgrade team as quickly as possible.

One move i would consider would be O'Meara to Brayshaw who is the mid with JS and money making potential. use balance of cash to get playing rookies on benches. Defence Rookies appear to be where the less chance is so consider one to Naughton who has JS at dogs due to injuries. Finlayson is another option if named which I am reasonably certain he will be.
Would also consider Brown to Keeffe to allow Sicily to move between defence and forwards.
These changes will ensure that you have cash cows from rd 1.
