I'm giving Finlayson the flick this week as it allows me to bring in M.Crouch.  8)

I think a lot of coaches get too sentimental over rookies instead of taking them to the slaughter house once their average is near their breakeven.

I will only have 4 rookies left on the ground next week when I upgrade Doedee/Murray to Yeo.

Rookies should be upgraded to a premo as soon as the opportunity presents itself!  ;)

I'd agree with most of that too, but I want to be getting the lowest scoring rookies off the field first - that's a higher priority than trading due to BE so that's why Finlayson in particular stays for me because there's worse scoring rookies than him that need to go first

Yeah exactly RD. Of course we need to trade out our cash cow rookies eventually without being too sentimental, but I saw people trading Finlayson out because of his breakeven when they had guys like Banfield, Brayshaw, Garlett, Coffield, Crowden etc ON FIELD.

Finlayson's average was 87 last week when I saw people making those trades. I honestly thought- if a bloke averaging 87 in defence is your priority to get rid of (and you have multiple guys that are NEARLY maxed out averaging 46 on your field), maybe breakevens aren't the ONLY thing you should be factoring in!

Holding Holman through the byes is ideal, but my issue is I really don’t have anyone else to trade. Finishing my team off comes first for sure.

Only other one almost ready to go is Brayshaw, but feel like he’s building
