Gdog 2018 - Need improvement

First crack for 2018, always around the top 2000. Wanna go better. Sometimes still feels like a novice in this format, but enjoying it more than any other format.  Not much left in the bank. All rooks are place holders at this stage, my mids will make or break me.  Thoughts from the experts would be much appreciated. 

DEF: Laird, Robertson, Tuohy, A. brayshaw, O,Shea, Doedee, (Morgan, O'Keefe)

MID: Mitchell, Ablett, Fyfe, Merrett, Cripps, Liberatore, O'Meara, T.Kelly (Garlett, Worpel, Barry)

RUC: Jacobs, Gawn (Cameron)

FOR: Billings, Walters, Barlow, Christensen, W.Rioli, Fritsch (Ahern, Venables)

Bit too risky for my liking. You've got various isk associated with Touhy, Ablett, Cripps, Libba, O'Meara, Walters and Barlow.

Whilst a lot of those picks I really like and think the pros outweigh the cons I don't think it's wise to take them all.

First a clarification is your D2 Roberton (Saints) or Robertson (Lions). Do not mind if Roberton but concern if Robertson as he may not be in Lions best 22.  A number of pundits leave him out at the moment.

Comment on team in general. 
Too many mid pricers with various risks associated with them. Probably need to drop a mid pricer in mids.  I would be looking at Libba who has only had 12 scores over 90 for the last 2 years. He is another adding weight to the general consensus that players do not return to their best after serious leg injuries.
You are right in mids will make or break you. With going with Ablett I think you need another top premium mid. So I would look at downgrading Libba ro a rookie and upgrading another to a 600k plus rookie. Most teams here have 3 of the Top priced mids in their teams.
Do not mind your forwards but be aware Barlow has the Rd 10 bye,

So overall try and mitigate your risk players and get safer options.

My bad. It was Roberton(Stk).
Made a couple of changes, to the mids & upgraded Barlow. This team has a better feel to it.

Wondering if i should downgrade Libba to O'Meara and put the cash on Cripps and turn him into Ablett.??

Really like this team. Some nice pods that are a good chance of being top 10 (Roberton, Tuohy, Kelly, Walters) Really like the Libba pick and surprised he ins't in more teams.

Good team to sit on over the JLT me thinks.

Nice team now to sit, Would not consider downgrading Cripps to get Ablett.  You already have 9 keepers with the dreaded Rd 14 bye so would not want to add another one.
