Hoping to have a bit of a different look team to others:

Yeo, Laird, Wilson, Brayshaw (Melb), O’Shae, Doodee (Cumming, Mira)

Danger, Martin, Merrett, Cripps, O’Meara, Armitage, Brayshaw, Davis-Uniake (Willsmore, Garlett, Kelly)

Ryder, Gawn (Cameron)

Menegola, Heeney, Lobb (GWS Ruckman), Stringer, Simpkin, Higgins (Ahern, Rioli)

A few different names no doubt to what most teams have but happy to explain my thoughts

Yeah i like it, obviously gotta track guys like arma and JOM and see how they are going come round 1 but could be good picks up

Wilson a bit of a unique but dont mind it, he could score quite well

Only guys i wouldnt have is menogola i think theres probably better options but i know many people will probably disagree with me, stringer would be the other one, just dont think the risk is worth the rewards given hes also injury prone. I reckon he will have a good year though.

Few different but not strayed to far agree about JOM and Armitage maybe one but not both and you need to add one more quality mid plenty of PODS available if you want to keep it different so you might need to cull one or two of those 300K ish players  ;)

Some good PODS there.
Maybe a little heavy on the midpricers with Wilson,Brayshaw,JOM,Armitage,Stringer,Lobb.
Lobb in serious doubt for round one so  you could get Christenson/Rookie in to free up cash.
Armitage not as secure in his spot in team as JOM so I'd upgrade him to cutpriced premo like Cripps/Pendles/Bont/Beams etc. and strengthen mids.
Love the Ryder and Merrett picks I've got both.
Menegola is overpriced but with so many injury concerns with fwds I think he could be a good pick.

Money Shot

A lot of teams are starting with Cripps at M6, So I think you should be starting him at M5 at the lowest. Think the midfield is too weak to compete with the other top end teams.

Don't mind the Wilson pick as he should score well off half back and all the other backline picks are solid.

Would try and turn your least favourite of JOM/Armitage into a premium (Or at least Coniglio) just too make that midfield a little bit stronger and less shakey.

Ryder is a great a pick only concern is that round 10 bye. Should be a nice pod among FF users.

Menegola is overpriced so would look at downgrading him to your next favourite forward, Heeney is a good pick and Lobb (if fit) is another great pick. Stringer should also increase his average with increased midfield minutes so can't fault that pick.

Overall it isn't a bad team at all and some of those pods are really good ones, would just try and improve that midfield.

Ringo

Not a bad team but one I would not start with due to too many mid pricers.  It is OK to be different but need to pick the right areas. Feel free to look at my team to see what I am getting at.

Mids are where the most points are made so if going for overall think you need to look at strengthening a little there. As has been said most teams with Cripps have him at M5 or M6 not M3.

frenzy

I like the Simpkin choice, unique is right. Would take some guts to start him and I probably couldn't. I see dizzy Brad Scott said he'll start him this season as an inside midfielder as see if he can handle it. Was on ask the coach on the afl webby, if you hadn't seen it.

I feel a bit lost this yr.
I usually like to have some mid/fwd & mid/back to be able to give extra coverage, but just don't have it this yr.
Here's my team anyway.....Is it as bad as I'm thinking it may be?????

Laird, Tuohy, J.Lloyd, Bowes, Coffield, Murray (Doedee, Finlayson)

Martin, Mitchell, Z.Merrett, Fyfe, Conigilo, R.Fox, A.Brayshaw, LDU (Kelly, Barry, Holman)

Martin, Gawn (Cameron)

Menegola, Westhoff, Lambert, D.Smith, Bell, Fritsch (L.Keeffe, Ryan)

If u want M/D link take fox out and move Coffeild or Finlayson to mids. Get Naughton in the backs.
Westhoff is the weak link in your team imo. He's getting on and has too much competition for points.
I'd downgrade to another rookie if named and upgrade LDU to a Premium.

Money Shot

Menegola and Westhoff to Heeney and Billings and would trade Bowes to Naughton and use cash elsewhere.

Ultimate1

Doubtful about Heeney being fit
Downgraded Westhoff to Stephenson (Coll)
Upgraded Bowes to Savage
LDU is now Graham from Richmond (def will play & I reckon can avg 80)

Mengoila needs to go. IMO his to much and if you want him get him later for a cheper price.
