Keep in mind it's 18 players over the byes. Doesn't matter if you have 3 from the same bye in defence and forward along with 4 in the mid and 1 in the ruck, you still field 18. The good thing is it's the round 14 bye so other upgrades will come to players from the byes already gone by the time it gets to there

The only real issue with starting 3 from the same bye in 1 position is you basically rule out anyone else that could start dominating from the same bye.

If I started Laird, Houli, Lloyd all from round 14 and then Ellis had a big breakout and was going 100+ I would have to just ignore him until after round 14

If it was the first bye I’d be more worried. More likely to ride the wave knowing I can do corrections during the other byes. Not saying that necessarily works btw...

Im really tempted by Ellis, the dogs premiership hang over is scaring me, burnt be last year with Bont, Johan and Dahl. All i can think about is the tigs doing the same  ;)

Have him in my DT side atm, pretty tempted to start him in SC as well. Depends what structure I go with I guess.
