So after sitting out for a couple of years, I've decided to get back on it and give it a solid crack this season.

DEF: M.Hurley, R.Laird, M.Hibberd, A.McGrath, G.Birchall, B.Mihocek (C.O'Shea, T.Doedee)

MID: P.Dangerfield, D.Martin, T.Mitchell, D.Zorko, M.Crouch, A.Brayshaw, LDU, L.Fogarty (J.Higgins, N.Freeman, D.Barry)

RUCK: S.Jacobs, Nic Nat (T.English)

FWD: I.Heeny, J.Billings, A.Christensen, C.Rayner, D.Venables, L.Ryan (W.Powell, J.Garlett)

CASH LEFT: $6,200

Considering to downgrading birch to a rookie and using the cash elsewhere to upgrade McGrath to a premo or to strengthen up my forward. Zorko is my little pod so hopefully he can continue on from last season maintain that 110 avg. Crouch I'm still 50/50 on due to the Gibbs effect so we'll just have to wait and see. Forward line is weakest line of all. Always manage to have bad luck with my forward selections in the past so I've gone light there for now.

Backs solid maybe do your downgrade , mids strong , rucks meh not sold on NN , forwards maybe they need that back cash as you have said but solid team ;)

Solid team. Backs a lil strong, forwards a lil weak but understandable given the options available.

Yeah I think I'd look at downgrading Birchall and upgrading McGrath, really like the look of the team though!

123k fwd to Lobb

Is what I would do just to even up the lines a little bit.

Would also look at getting Gawn in. Preferably for nic nat but I would still rate him over Jacobs as well.

Good team mate, I'd just look to replace Nicnat with Gawn, otherwise good effort

Thanks for the responses lads! Thought about each comment and I've been tinkering with the side to find more of a balanced side.

FWD: Billings, T.McLean, R.Lobb, Christensen, Rayner, W.Powell (L.Ryan, J.Garlett)

Spent a little less in the mids which allowed me to upgrade the weaker lines. Forward line looking a lot stronger then before. Dusty now becomes an upgrade target.

Gone light in defence. Savage being my pod.
Dow just filling in for now. Going to wait till jlt2 is done and for round 1 sides to be announced to find a cheaper rookie also depending on their js.
Trying to fit Billings in their but don't have the funds at the moment and not sure who to make way for him if i do get Billings. Sicily can be swung to back via Keeffe.

Honestly think Coffied at D4 could be a little weak but apart from that i can't fault the team.

Beams to Zorko would be OK :D

Actually do not mind the team as it stands, A lot will depend on defensive and forward rookies starting with Sicily as your swing. Not 100% sold on him but flexibility outweighs the this.
