Mitchell and Dusty

Not planning on starting either.

Really?! Reasoning?

Well there’s no value in either of them. The money he saved by picking say Fyfe and Beams (just an example) could massively help his team. Titch and Dusty most likely won’t be going up in price, if anything they’ll probably fall a bit.

Having said that I have Titch and 50/50 on Dusty, but it’s not like you’re a big loser for not picking the best scorers if you can appropriately invest the money saved elsewhere - fantasy footy is a game of both points and money.

It's not all about just picking undervalued players though. You still need some of the best scorers in your team because it's too hard to get them all in once the season starts

Lewis Jetta has to be the biggest lock surely?

Only 386k and priced at just 70.3. I hope you guys don't get sucked into spud mid-pricers like Brayshaw or O'Meara.

Jetta's move to the half back line will be as fruitful as can be. Elite disposal and run off the back flank will have AFL oppositions tearing their hair out! Not to mention he has a game built for SC with his high kick numbers and meters gained. If he was a fwd I'd expect at least 45% ownership. Since as a pure mid he is only in 1% of teams, this is the time to get on!
He's never been a great SC scorer. How much will he average in a bottom 8 team sharing points with JJK,Redden,Shuey,NicNat and Yeo?
I guess an 85+ average is possible but I'd rather a rookie at 250k less avg 70 and making money.
Plus it looks like more mid rookies will line up than fwd and back so makes it hard to find a spot.

I think you missed Levi's sarcasm :P

For me the biggest lock is the lockout in AF. I really don't want to fork out the extra for Fritsch & Kelly if they are not playing. No doubt they will both be named on an extended bench to add to the frustration. Might have to take what we can get from the first six matches in AF. P.S. Fyfe.

Well that’s what Dangerfield and Fyfe and Zorko and etc are for - you don’t have to pick the top 6 scorers from last season and blow half your salary cap
