Round 11 Trades

I’m really not sure which way to go on trades this week, options are:

Barry - T Smith
Kelly - Walters

Higgins - T Smith
Kelly - Treloar / Gaff or Robbie Gray

3 weeks ago the obvious option would be to bring in Robbie Gray, but now the waters have been muddied. You're not worried about bringing in a guy with a bye to come? I'd be looking at Robbie Gray or one of the Port forwards.

haha yeah.  Didn't plan on bringing in Smith but he's a must have sooooo.... $711k in a weapons chest ready for the byes.

Yes I agree, I don’t have either Westhoff or Gray and the easiest solution moving forward with byes is picking up Gray.
Gray though has a high breakeven I think (126) so he might even be cheaper next week.

Walters just has value at the moment and I can also finally trade Barry.

If I go ahead with the Walters trade I’ll essentially have all these rookies ready to trade:

Def: Mirra, Murphy
Mid: Spargo, Brayshaw, Phillips
Fwd: Higgins, Guelfi

That’s also including Fritsch at F6 and Doedee at D5 and Ridley at D6.

But bringing in a port player is a must like Gray or Westhoff and this will most likely happen next week for a Fritsch/Higgins type of player.

Given I have Jeremy Howe and he was out this week I had to move Mirra on and brought in Rice.

Other trade was Fritsch to Robbie Gray. Gray has been solid in 3 quarters so far but Fritsch did get a ton.

Still happy with that trade though. Gray handy during the bye weeks coming up.

Have the money to trade either Mutch or Guelfi to Walters but can’t get Walters on the field unless I bench Fyfe, Coniglio or D Smith.

Mutch --> Walters would be a good trade, given Mutch's lack of JS. Only on the pine for one week, long term a good trade.

Yep do it, Mutch to walters, gets a donut off the bench for the byes (mutch is injured with "intermittent headaches", even if he comes back he will have to earn his spot back which doesnt look likely to be during the byes :D

Kicking myself. Had him on the field with Guelfi as E and Keeffe. As easy loophole gone begging. Probably thrown 30-40 points away. Oh well.
