My team is currently as below:

DEF: R. Laird, M. Hibberd, P. Hanley, G. Birchall, C. O'Shea, L. Keeffe (E. Richards, T. Doedee)

MID: M. Bontempelli, J. Kennedy, S. Ross, P. Cripps, S. Coniglio, C. Petracca, A. Brayshaw, J. Worpel (J. Trengove, P. Ahern, N. Freeman)

RUCK: M. Gawn, N. Naitanui (D. Cameron)

FOR: I. Heeney, T. Greene, J. Billings, L. Dahlhaus, A. Christensen, P. Naish (D. Venables, J. Garlett).

I have $11,700 left in the bank.

My main concern is rookies on and off the field.

Thoughts?

Forget about the rookies I think you need to get some super premo mids in the team or the chances you get some average captains scores is on the cards

Kozij

Yeah, what is up with those mids? Don't be worried about your rookies at this stage.

That looks better already, still some questionable choices however.

Would downgrade your least forward to Rayner who although may not score well should play most games.

Then do some upgrades to get Danger, Titch, Martin, Fyfe, Cripps and Coniglio if I was you.

I see merit in a few cutpriced PODs in the mids,as the top 5 - 10 rarely stay the same. Kelly,Oliver,Martin,Mitchell were all cheap last year and look what happened. That said it's about picking the right ones to jump into the top prems. Bont and JPK are both as good a choice as any. Beams,Pendles,Parker and Selwood are others.
Ross not so much. Brayshaw and Petracca are better picked in backs and fwds respectively if u want them. This enables getting as many prem mids and good scoring rookies as possible.
I like the Bont and JPK picks but u probably need one or two of Danger,Mitchell,Martin,Oliver,Kelly,Crouch to balance it out.
I agree as said above drop a prem fwd to help boost mids.

MID: D. Martin, T. Mitchell, C. Oliver, P. Cripps, S. Coniglio, L. Weller, J. Higgins, P. Ahern (N. Freeman, J. Garlett, N. Holman)

RUCK: M. Gawn, N. Naitanui (D. Cameron)

Midfield has been bolstered, just unsure of rookies but will wait on AFLX and JLT for them.

Team is looking alot better. Only pick im not sure on is Weller, if he was a defender you would just about lock him in but with Gold Coast's early bye I would rather wait and see.

Least favourite forward to a rookie
nic nat to Jacobs
Weller to Danger

is what i would do.
